Thoughts & Inspiration

Well, it has been an absolutely incredible first week here completing some training! We are going to be camping the entirety of the launch and training here in Gainsville, Georgia. Coming from Minnesota and switching straight to the lifestyle of being outside all day in 80-degree weather with 90% humidity has been difficult. It’s taken some getting used to but I am finally getting some good night’s rest, yay!

This time hasn’t come short of incredible. God is already working miracles and I feel the closest to Jesus that I have ever been in my life. An average day for me looks like getting up at 6-7 am and breakfast is at 8 am sharp. After breakfast, we have an hour of worship at 9 am followed by an hour of a sermon by very knowledgeable people. Following the sermon with everyone, the squads split up and we discuss our thoughts and questions for about another hour. Afterward, we have some free time followed by lunch at 12:30. We have some more free time after and then participate in another sermon at about 4:30, followed by another debrief with our squads. Then, we have free time, dinner at 6:30 pm, then free time again.

It has been such an eye-opening experience and it’s only the first week. I already feel such connections with everyone on my team and feel so close to them! God has been working wonders during my time here. I have been brought to my knees in tears and have been learning so much about the Word. It’s wonderful.

I can’t put into words how excited I am to continue learning and doing what God has called me to do!!

  3. Jett,
It was great meeting you and your parents at the Launch in Atlanta. I loved reading your recent blog. From what I have heard from Sasha, she is having much of the same experiences. She LOVES her team and cannot wait to see what God is going to do. Stay strong, stay in God’s word, and trust Him. We will keep you in our prayers. Rob
